Q: what should I wear? A: Its ultimately up to you, and what kind of environment you want to shoot in. As a rule of thumb though, I generally advise against super bright neon colors and crazy patterns or giant logos. The photo is about you, don't make your clothes distract from YOU. However, flowy clothing creates a sense of movement while tight slimming clothing will show off your lines better. Q: Do I have to bring my own rigging equipment? A: No. However, if you have a specific apparatus or color preference, you may need to provide that. I have one gold silk and one set of aerial straps for your use, and will provide all of the necessary rigging gear we will need. All of it is from reputable companies, and as a professional rigger, I have experience in this field so you can feel safe an confident for your shoot.
Q: I don't know where to go for a shoot! What locations are available to me? A: I have worked hard to compile a portfolio of locations over the past couple years (I call it my locations bible, complete with photos and drive times, info on the best time of year, and accessibility!), and have extensive experience and endless ideas for whatever vibe you’re looking for! Come say hi and we'll discuss locations!
Q: What exactly does an Adventure session look like? A: Its a customizable movement adventure geared towards the adventurous at heart movement artist (dancer, gymnast, aerialist, contortionist, martial artist, or whatever you specialize in!). We will work together to decide on an adventure location such as exploring a ghost town, hiking the sand dunes, cresting a mountain, or frolicking in some mountain waterfall! This is often times a several hour experience and I will be there as your adventure buddy and moment capture-er. From a stunning arabesque overlooking the mountains, to handstands in bubbly little springs, I’ll be there to capture both the experience and your unique artistry. Bring some friends! The more the merrier and group adventure sessions are discounted per person.
